ECC832 (12DW7)
The JJ ECC832 is a faithful reproduction of the classic 12DW7. Utilizing JJ's short plate structure design, you get one low gain triode (12AU7/ECC82 spec), and one high gain triode (12AX7/ECC83 spec) in the same bottle. While there are several applications designed specifically for these tubes (Ampeg guys we're talking to you!), they also make great low gain substitutes allowing you to reduce gain in pinpointed stages.
Harp Players also take note, you can use these in amps with long tail phase inverters to increase even order harmonic distortion. This can really help bring out the nuances that make harp sound so cool.

All our preamp tubes are stringently tested for noise and microphonics using Amplitrex testers driving an external amp. There is no extra charge for low noise and microphonics testing like with other tube vendors. If a tube does not pass our strict performance criteria it's tossed or sent back to JJ Electronic for evaluation.
