Traynor YCV 80 Blues Option

Product Details

This is our Blues Option Retube Kit and we but it together just for Blues players! This will drop the gain down in the drive channel and make it much more usable and natural sounding. This kit contains an ECC832 for V1, a standard ECC83S for V2 and a balanced ECC83S for the phase inverter in V3. The power tubes are a matched quad of the JJ 6L6GC's.

The Balanced ECC83S is located in V3 farthest from the input jack! The ECC832 is located in V1 closest to the input jack.

The YCV 80 amps have a bias compensation circuit but it's just to balance unmatched power tubes. It does not adjust the plate current up or down, it is basically a fixed bias amp. These amps can use 6L6GC's in a moderate grade and the bias will be right where it should be.
