Want a really smooth and rich tone with less grit? This is our Gold Pin Option Retube Kit for the Soldano Lucky 13 100 watt Heads and Combo Amps. It uses six Gold Pin ECC83S's with one being current balanced for the phase inverter in V6. The default power tubes are a matched quad of the JJ 6L6GC's but you can configure this kit to use the JJ KT66's or even the JJ 5881's to drop the power output a couple decibels by clicking on the "Customize" button!

The Balanced Gold Pin ECC83S is located in V6 which is closest to the power tubes.

These amps are adjustable bias. All you need to check and set the bias is one of our 8 pin bias probes with a Multimeter, or our all-in-one 8 pin "Pro One" bias probe (which reads plate voltage and plate current simultaneously). These are available under the "Related Products" tab.

You can use the bias video we did on a Marshall 800 for reference, the procedure is the same.
