Looking for a vintage vibe with FAT mids and a real sparkle? This is the ECC803S V1 Option Retube Kit for the Soldano Lucky 13 100 Heads and Combo Amps. The preamp section uses a JJ Long Plate ECC803S for V1 for a little lower gain with big thick mids and a little more sparkle in the highs along with five ECC83S with one being current balanced for the phase inverter in V6. The default power tubes are a matched quad of the JJ 6L6GC's but you can configure this kit to use the JJ KT66's or even the JJ 5881's to drop the power output a couple decibels by clicking on the "Customize" button!

The Balanced ECC83S is located in V6 which is closest to the power tubes and the ECC803S is located in V1.

These amps are adjustable bias. All you need to check and set the bias is one of our 8 pin bias probes with a Multimeter, or our all-in-one 8 pin "Pro One" bias probe (which reads plate voltage and plate current simultaneously). These are available under the "Related Products" tab.

You can use the bias video we did on a Marshall 800 for reference, the procedure is the same.
