Want all the gain you can get? This is our High Gain Option Retube Kit for the Rivera Venus 6 Heads and Combo Amps. The preamp section uses a standard ECC83S for V4 and four handpicked High Gain ECC83S's with one balanced for the phase inverter in V5. The default power tubes are a matched quad of the JJ 6V6S's.

The Balanced High Gain ECC83S is located in V5 farthest from the input jack and the standard ECC83S is located in V4.

Combo amps are very hard on tubes because of vibrations which can cause tube rattle with any brand of tube. If your amp is the combo version and you play by yourself in a quiet environment or record with your amp you may want to consider using the EuroDamper tube damper rings for the four 6V6S’s. These are available in the "Related Products” tab as a set of four large dampers and will greatly decrease tube rattle.

These are adjustable bias amps and all you need to check and adjust the bias is a Multimeter. The bias info is printed right on the board next to the test points. If you do not have a Multimeter they are available under the "Related Products" tab.
