Want it your way? The "Custom Kit" is just that, you get to choose your power tubes and all your preamp tubes! We'll give you all the power tube options and then you can choose your V1 tube and all your other preamp tubes! We give you all the positions and you fill them!. We left the quantity fields open so that spares or multiple tubes could be ordered to experiment with.

Power-Tubes
Any of the power tubes listed below are compatible with your amp. The EL34II's, EL34's, KT77's and Big Bottle 6CA7's run in the EL34 mode. 6L6GC's and 5881's run in the 6L6 mode. We do not recommend using the JJ E34L’s in these amps because the screen grid resistors have occasionally failed. Vi is the main input tube and shapes the entire tone stack, here you can maintain gain, reduce it, increase it or smooth it out with a Gold Pin tube. We left the "Quantity Field" active for those of you who may want a couple different V1 tubes to experiment with. V3 will mainly affect the Ultra or Lead channel, here you can again maintain gain, reduce it with an ECC832 or 5751, or increase it. You can smooth it out with a Gold Pin tube. EuroDamper Tube Damper Rings
If you choose to use the JJ 6L6GC's then we will ship your kit with the special Double Mica 6L6GC’s at no extra charge which will greatly reduce any tube rattle. JJ Electronic started building us a proprietary version of their 6L6GC (the 6L6GC-DM) in 2005 with extra layers of mica. This reinforces the plate structure and all but eliminates tube rattle symptoms. For all other tubes such as EL34II’s, EL34’s, KT77's and 6CA7's, we recommend using our EuroDamper rings and these will greatly decrease tube rattle.
