Want to tame the gain a bit on your ValveKing MH or ValveKing II MH? This is our Low Gain Option Retube Kit and it contains a matched pair of JJ EL84's for power, two JJ 5751's to lower the gain along with a standard ECC83S for V3.

The two 5751's are located in V1 and V2 which are the two preamp tubes closest to the front of the amp.

These are adjustable bias amps and there are test points inside the amp for those of you who want to dig into the amp. Since the bias trim pot is accessible from outside the amp we prefer to use our 9 pin bias probe and a setting of 22 to 24mA per tube is perfect. You can find these under related products.
