Product Details

We put this kit together just for Blues players! This is our Blues Option Retube Kit. It contains a matched pair of JJ EL84's in a hotter grade for power along with a standard ECC83S for V1, an ECC832 for V2 and a graded high current ECC83S for V3.

The graded high current ECC83S is located closest to the power tubes and the ECC832 is located in V2.

These amps are fixed biased, there is no bias adjustment to be made. The amount of clean headroom you’ll get from the power section is somewhat dictated by the grade of power tube used. A cooler grade of EL84’s will give you more clean headroom, whereas a warmer grade will give you earlier breakup. If you order online, leave us a note in the comments section letting us know your headroom preference (max headroom, middle of the road or early breakup).
