Do you like FAT mids and a sparkling high end? This is our ECC803S V1 Option Retube Kit for the Orange Tiny Terror. It contains a JJ Long Plate ECC803S for V1 for a little lower gain with big thick mids and a little more sparkle in the highs. We follow that up with a matched pair of JJ EL84's for power, and a current balanced ECC83S for the phase inverter.

Just let us know in the comments section if you're looking for an early breakup, a moderate breakup or a later breakup for more headroom in which case we will choose the coolest grades we have available for the power tubes.

The Balanced ECC83S is located farthest from the input jack.

These amps are cathode biased, there is no bias adjustment to be made. The amount of clean headroom you’ll get from the power section is somewhat dictated by the grade of power tube used. A cooler grade of EL84’s will give you more clean headroom, whereas a warmer grade will give you earlier breakup. If you order online, leave us a note in the comments section letting us know your headroom preference (max headroom, middle of the road or early breakup).
