Looking for a vintage vibe with FAT mids and a real sparkle? This is the ECC803S V1 Option Retube Kit for the Orange OR50 Amps. The preamp section uses a Long Plate JJ ECC803S For the input tube along with two ECC83S's with one balanced for the phase inverter. The default power tubes are a matched pair the JJ Electronic E34L’s but you can configure this kit to use the JJ EL34II's, EL34’s, KT77’s or Big Bottle 6CA7’s by clicking on the "Customize" button.

The Balanced High Gain ECC83S is located farthest from the input jack and the ECC803S is located closest to the input jack.

These are adjustable bias amps and all you need to check and adjust the bias is a bias probe and a Multimeter, or our all-in-one Eurotubes "Pro One" bias probe that reads both the plate current and the plate voltage simultaneously. The E34L's, EL34II's, EL34's, KT77's and 6CA7's all bias the same.

You can use the Generic bias video we did on a Marshall 800 and the procedure is the same.
