Want a really smooth and rich tone with less grit? This is the Gold Pin Option Retube Kit for the Orange OR100. The preamp section uses one standard Gold Pin ECC81 for the FX loop in V4 and four Gold Pin JJ ECC83S's with one balanced for the phase inverter in V5. The default power tubes are a matched quad of the JJ Electronic E34L's which are very tight and punchy with more extension in the low end. With the Customize option you can configure this kit to use the JJ EL34II's, EL34’s, KT77’s or Big Bottle 6CA7’s. Checkout the the customize page for more details on these options.

The Gold Pin ECC81 is located in V4 in the back row farthest from the input jack. The Balanced Gold Pin ECC83S is located in V5 in the back row closest to the input jack.

These are all adjustable bias amps and all you need to check and adjust the bias is a bias probe and a Multimeter, or our all-in-one Eurotubes "Pro One" bias probe that reads both the plate current and the plate voltage simultaneously. You can find all these under the Related Products Tab.
