Want a really smooth and rich tone with less grit and the earlier breakup of the JJ EL844's? This is our Low Output Gold Pin Option Retube Kit for the Orange Dual Terror. It contains a matched quad of JJ EL844's for power and four Gold Pin ECC83S's with two being current balanced for the phase inverters in V2 and V4. A nice upgrade from the stock tubes, lush, smooth and an earlier power tube breakup!

The Balanced Gold Pin ECC83S's are located in V2 and V4 which are the second and fourth preamp tubes away from the input jack.

These amps are cathode biased, there is no bias adjustment to be made. The JJ EL844’s are a drop in replacement for EL84’s. The EL844’s will reduce the power output of the amp by a decibel or two which is very noticeable.
