Orange Dual Terror Low Output ECC803S Option

This is our Low Output ECC803S V1 Option Retube Kit for the Orange Dual Terror. It contains a matched quad of JJ EL844's for an earlier power tube breakup, two JJ Long Plate ECC803S's for V1 and V3 and two current balanced ECC83S's for the phase inverters in V2 and V4.

The Balanced High Gain ECC83S's are located in V2 and V4 which are the second and fourth preamp tubes away from the input jack.

These amps are cathode biased, there is no bias adjustment to be made. The JJ EL844’s are a drop in replacement for EL84’s. The EL844’s will reduce the power output of the amp by a decibel or two which is very noticeable.
