Looking for a vintage vibe? This is the ECC803S V1 Option Retube Kit for the Orange AD50, CS50 and Retro 50 Amps. The preamp section uses uses a Long Plate ECC803S for a little lower gain with big thick mids and a little more sparkle in the highs along with one current balanced ECC83S for the phase inverter in V2. The default power tubes are the JJ Electronic E34L’s but you can configure this kit to use the JJ EL34II's, EL34’s, KT77’s or Big Bottle 6CA7’s by clicking on the "Customize" button.

The Balanced ECC83S is located closest to the power tubes.

These are adjustable bias amps and all you need to check and adjust the bias is a bias probe and a Multimeter, or our all-in-one Eurotubes "Pro One" bias probe that reads both the plate current and the plate voltage simultaneously. The E34L's, EL34's, KT77's and 6CA7's all bias the same.

You can use the Generic bias video we did on a Marshall 800 and the procedure is the same.
