Do you like FAT mids and some extra high end sparkle? This is our ECC803S V1 Option Retube Kit for the Mesa Mark Five 25 Amps. It contains one Long Plate ECC803S for V1 along with five ECC83S's with one being current balanced for the phase inverter in V6. The default power tubes are a matched pair of the JJ EL84's but you can configure this kit to use the JJ EL844's for an earlier breakup by clicking on the "Customize" button!

The Balanced ECC83S is located in V6 closest to the power tubes and the ECC803S is located in V1.

These amps are fixed biased, there is no bias adjustment to be made. The amount of clean headroom you’ll get from the power section is somewhat dictated by the grade of power tube used. A cooler grade of EL84’s will give you more clean headroom, whereas a warmer grade will give you earlier breakup. If you order online, leave us a note in the comments section letting us know your headroom preference (max headroom, middle of the road or early breakup).

The JJ EL844's are a lower power tube and will get you an earlier breakup.
