Mesa Boogie Maverick Standard Retube Kit

Looking to warm up your Maverick? This is our Standard Retube Kit for the Mesa Boogie Maverick Heads and Combo Amps. It contains a GZ34 rectifier tube along with six ECC83S's with one of them being current balanced for the phase inverter in V6. The default power tubes are a matched quad of the JJ EL84's but you can configure this kit to use the JJ EL844's by clicking on the "Customize" button!

The Balanced ECC83S is located in V6 farthest from the input jack.

Combo amps are very hard on tubes because of vibrations which can cause tube rattle with any brand of tube. If you play by yourself in a quiet environment or record with your amp you may want to consider using the EuroDamper tube damper rings for the four power tubes and the GZ34. These are available under the "Related Products” tab as a set of four for the power tubes and single large rings for the GZ34.

These amps are fixed bias so both the EL84's and EL844's are plug and play.
