Looking for the smoothest richest tone possible from your Mark IV Simulclass amp? This is our Gold Pin Option Retube Kit and it contains four Gold Pin ECC83S's for V1 through V4 and a balanced Gold Pin ECC83S for the phase inverter in V5. Very smooth!

The default power tube selection is a matched pair of JJ 6L6GC's and a matched pair of the JJ E34L's in a warmer grade to accommodate the fixed bias power section. With the customize option you can configure this kit to use straight 6L6GC's or 5881's and different EL34 variants for the outside sockets.

If your Mark IV is a combo amp then please let us know in the comments section and we will ship your kit with the special Double Mica 6L6GC’s which will greatly reduce any tube rattle.

The Balanced Gold Pin ECC83S is located in V5 farthest from the input jack. If you're running a mixed EL34/6L6 kit, the EL34 style tubes must be run in the outside sockets.

If your amp is a combo amp and you choose to go with the 6L6GC's then please let us know in the comments section. All Combo amp Retube Kits are shipped with the Eurotubes Double Mica 6L6GC’s at no extra charge. JJ Electronic started building us a proprietary version of their 6L6GC (the 6L6GC-DM) in 2005 with extra layers of mica. This reinforces the plate structure and all but eliminates tube rattle symptoms. For all other tubes such as GZ34’s, 5U4GB’s, 6V6S’s, 5881's, EL34’s, E34L’s etc, we recommend using our EuroDamper rings.

These amps are fixed biased, there is no bias adjustment to be made.
