Mesa Boogie JP-2C Standard Retube Kit

Looking for a warmer tone from your John Petrucci JP-C2? This is our standard Retube Kit™ and it contains a four standard ECC83S's for V1 thru V4 and a balanced ECC83S for the phase inverter in V5. A nice upgrade in tone.

The default power tubes are a matched quad of the JJ 6L6GC's but you can configure this kit to use the JJ 5881's by clicking on the "Customize" button!

The Balanced ECC83S is located in V5 farthest from the input jack.

These amps are fixed biased, there is no bias adjustment to be made.

All our Mesa Retube Kits include power tubes that are hand selected to run perfectly in Mesa amps. We have extensive hands-on experience measuring the fixed bias points in these amps and what grade of tubes will achieve optimal performance.
