Want maximum gain? This is our High Gain Option Retube Kit for the Mesa Boogie Heartbreaker amps and it contains two standard ECC83S's for V6 and V7 along with five Handpicked High Gain ECC83S's with one balanced for the phase inverter in V5. Rippin

The Kit contains a JJ GZ34 rectifier tube and the default power tube selection is a matched quad of JJ 6L6GC's in a warmer grade to accommodate the fixed bias power section. With the customize option you can configure this kit to use a range of other power tubes. All configurations are hand picked to function with the specific fixed bias of the Heartbreaker.

If your amp is a combo amp then please let us know in the comments section and we will ship your kit with the special Double Mica 6L6GC’s which will greatly reduce any tube rattle.

The High Gain ECC83S's are located in V1 thru V4 and the Balanced High Gain ECC83S is located in V5.

If your amp is a combo amp and you choose to go with the 6L6GC's then please let us know in the comments section. All Combo amp Retube Kits are shipped with the Eurotubes Double Mica 6L6GC’s at no extra charge. JJ Electronic started building us a proprietary version of their 6L6GC (the 6L6GC-DM) in 2005 with extra layers of mica. This reinforces the plate structure and all but eliminates tube rattle symptoms. For all other tubes such as GZ34’s, 5U4GB’s, 6V6S’s, 5881's, EL34’s, E34L’s etc, we recommend using our EuroDamper rings.

These amps are fixed biased, there is no bias adjustment to be made.
