Looking for a really smooth and rich tone with less grit from your Heartbreaker? This is our Gold Pin Option Retube Kit and it contains a JJ GZ34 rectifier tube, six standard Gold Pin ECC83S's and a balanced Gold Pin ECC83S for the phase inverter in V5. Rich and smooth!

The default power tube selection is a matched quad of JJ 6L6GC's in a warmer grade to accommodate the fixed bias power section. With the customize option you can configure this kit to use a range of other power tubes. All configurations are hand picked to function with the specific fixed bias of the Heartbreaker.

If your amp is a combo amp then please let us know in the comments section and we will ship your kit with the special Double Mica 6L6GC’s which will greatly reduce any tube rattle.

The Balanced Gold Pin ECC83S is located in V5.

If your amp is a combo amp and you choose to go with the 6L6GC's then please let us know in the comments section. All Combo amp Retube Kits are shipped with the Eurotubes Double Mica 6L6GC’s at no extra charge. JJ Electronic started building us a proprietary version of their 6L6GC (the 6L6GC-DM) in 2005 with extra layers of mica. This reinforces the plate structure and all but eliminates tube rattle symptoms. For all other tubes such as GZ34’s, 5U4GB’s, 6V6S’s, 5881's, EL34’s, E34L’s etc, we recommend using our EuroDamper rings.

These amps are fixed biased, there is no bias adjustment to be made.
