Do you like fat mids and little extra high end sparkle? This is our ECC803S Retube Kit. It contains a JJ ECC803S for V2 which is the clean channel for a little lower gain with big thick mids and a little more sparkle in the highs. Two standard ECC83S's for V1 and V3, a standard ECC81 for V4 and a balanced ECC83S for the phase inverter in V5. A very fat vintage tone.

The default power tubes are a matched pair of the JJ 6L6GC’s but you can configure this kit to use the JJ 5881’s by clicking on the "Customize" button!

If your amp is the combo version and you choose to go with the 6L6GC's then please let us know in the comments section and we will ship your kit with the special Double Mica 6L6GC’s which will greatly reduce any tube rattle.

The Balanced ECC83S is located in V5 farthest from the input jack and the ECC81 is located in V4 and the ECC803S is located in V2.

If your amp is the combo version then please let us know in the comments section. All Combo amp Retube Kits are shipped with the Eurotubes Double Mica 6L6GC’s at no extra charge. JJ Electronic started building us a proprietary version of their 6L6GC (the 6L6GC-DM) in 2005 with extra layers of mica. This reinforces the plate structure and all but eliminates tube rattle symptoms.

These amps are fixed biased, there is no bias adjustment to be made.
