Want a very smooth rich tone from your JTM 45? This is the Gold Pin Option Retube Kit for the Marshall JTM 45 including the Bluesbreaker Reissue. The preamp section uses three Gold Pin ECC83S's with one balanced for the phase inverter in V3. A JJ GZ34 for the rectifier tube.The default power tubes are the JJ Electronic 6L6GC’s but you can configure this kit to use the JJ KT66’s for a more traditional Bluesbreaker tone by clicking on the "Customize" button.

The Balanced Gold Pin ECC83S is located closest to the power tubes in V3.

If your amp is the combo version and you have chosen to use the JJ 6L6GC's then please let us know in the comments section. All Combo amp Retube Kits are shipped with the Eurotubes Double Mica 6L6GC’s at no extra charge. JJ Electronic started building us a proprietary version of their 6L6GC (the 6L6GC-DM) in 2005 with extra layers of mica. This reinforces the plate structure and all but eliminates tube rattle symptoms.

These are all adjustable bias amps and all you need to check and adjust the bias is a bias probe and a Multimeter, or our all-in-one Eurotubes "Pro One" bias probe that reads both the plate current and the plate voltage simultaneously. You can find all these under the Related Products Tab.

You can use the "Generic Bias Video" we made using a Marshall 800 for reference.
