Need as much gain as possible from your DSL 15? This kist uses the JJ 6V6S's for power along with three handpicked high gain ECC83S's and one handpicked high gain balanced ECC83S for the phase inverter in V4. Make it go to eleven!

The Balanced High Gain ECC83S is located in V4 closest to the power tubes.

Combo amps are very hard on tubes because of vibrations which can cause tube rattle with any brand of tube. If your amp is the combo version and you play by yourself in a quiet environment or record with your amp you may want to consider using the EuroDamper tube damper rings for the two 6V6S’s. These are available in the "Related Products” tab as a set of two and will greatly decrease tube rattle.

These amps are adjustable bias and the factory spec at the test point is 20 to 25mV per side.
