Magnatone Varsity Reverb Standard Retube Kit

Looking to warm up your Varsity Reverb? This is our Standard Retube Kit for the Magnatone Varsity Reverb Combo Amps. It contains a JJ ECC832 for the verb in V2, along with two ECC83S's with one being current balanced for the phase inverter in V3, a GZ34 rectifier tube and the default power tubes are a matched pair of the JJ EL84's but you can configure this kit to use the JJ EL844's by clicking on the "Customize" button!

The ECC832 is located in V2 and the Balanced ECC83S is located in V3 closest to the power tubes.

Combo amps are very hard on tubes because of vibrations which can cause tube rattle with any brand of tube. If you play by yourself in a quiet environment or record with your amp you may want to consider using the EuroDamper tube damper rings for the two power tubes and the GZ34. These are available under the "Related Productsâ€ tab as a pair for the power tubes and single large rings for the GZ34.

These amps are cathode bias so both the EL84's and EL844's are plug and play.
