Want a very rich and smooth tone with less grit? This is our Gold Pin Option Retube Kit for the Magnatone Super 59 Head. The preamp section includes one Gold Pin ECC832 which replaces the 12DW7, one Gold Pin ECC82 to replace the 12AU7 along with five Gold Pin ECC83S's with one balanced for the phase inverter in V7. The kit includes a JJ GZ34 rectifier tubes and the default power tubes are a matched pair of the JJ E34L's, however you can configure this kit to use the JJ EL34II's, KT77's, EL34's or the Big Bottle 6CA7's by clicking on the "Customize" button!

The Balanced Gold Pin ECC83S is located in V7 closest to the power tubes, the Gold Pin ECC832 is located in V6 and the Gold Pin ECC82 is located in V3.

These are adjustable bias amps and all you need to check and adjust the bias is a bias probe and a Multimeter, or our all-in-one Eurotubes "Pro One" bias probe that reads both the plate current and the plate voltage simultaneously.

You can use the "Generic Bias Video" we made using a Marshall 800 for reference.
