Want a very smooth and rich tone with less grit? This is our Gold Pin Option Retube Kit for the Magnatone Lyric Combo Amps. It uses a single Gold Pin ECC83S for the front end, a JJ GZ34 rectifier tube and the default power tube is a single JJ 6L6GC. With the Customize option you can configure this kit to use a JJ 5881 which will drop the power output slightly and have different tonal characteristics. 

The Gold Pin ECC83S replaces the 12AX7.






These amps are cathode bias so the 6L6GC and 5881 tubes are plug and play.
