Line 6 DT25 Standard Retube Kit

Looking to warm up your DT25? This is our Standard Retube Kit for the Line 6 DT25 Heads and Combo Amps. It uses a current balanced ECC83S for the phase inverter and the default power tubes are a matched pair of the JJ EL84's. With the Customize option you can configure this kit to use the JJ EL844's which will drop the power output a couple decibels (ideal for players wanting decreased headroom/output).

The Balanced ECC83S replaces the single preamp tube.

Combo amps are very hard on tubes because of vibrations which can cause tube rattle with any brand of tube. If your amp is the combo version and you play by yourself in a quiet environment or record with your amp you may want to consider using the EuroDamper tube damper rings for the two EL84’s or EL844's. These are available in the "Related Products” tab as a set of two small dampers and will greatly decrease tube rattle. **Note: The wire retainers will have to be stretched out to fit over the damper rings.

These amps are adjustable bias. All you need to check and set the bias is a Multimeter. These are available under the "Related Products" tab.

EL84's should bias up to between 25 to 29 mV per tube.
The JJ EL844's are a 9 watt tube and should bias up to between 16 to 22 mA per tube.
