Looking for a warmer tone with better definition? This is our Standard Retube Kit and it contains a matched quad of JJ EL84's for the power section. Six ECC83S's with one being current balanced for the phase inverter in V6. A nice upgrade in tone.

The Balanced ECC83S is located in V6 closest to the power tubes.

Combo amps are very hard on tubes because of vibrations which can cause tube rattle with any brand of tube. If you play by yourself in a quiet environment or record with your amp you may want to consider using the EuroDamper tube damper rings for the four EL84’s. These are available in the "Related Products” tab as a set of two and will greatly decrease tube rattle. ** Note; the wire tube retainers will not fit all the way over the damper rings.

These amps are adjustable bias and all you need to to check and set the bias is one of our 9 pin bias probes with a Multimeter or our all-in-one 9 pin Pro One" bias probe that reads plate voltage and plate current simultaneously. These are available under the "Related Products" tab.
