Have you outgrown the scoop mid thing? Do you want a tone with FAT mids and a real sparkle? This is the ECC803S V1 Option Retube Kit for the Hughes & Kettner Warp T and Warp X Amps. It a Long Plate ECC803S in V1 along with three ECC83S's with one being current balanced for the phase inverter in V4. The default power tubes are a matched quad of the JJ 6L6GC's. With the Customize option you can configure this kit to use the JJ 5881's which will drop the power output slightly (ideal for players wanting decreased headroom/output).

The Balanced ECC83S is located in V4 farthest from the input jack and the ECC803S is located in V1.

These amps are adjustable bias. If you use the HK shunt method all that's necessary is a Multimeter. A more accurate and far easier method is to use one of our octal bias probes with a Multimeter, or our all-in-one octal "Pro One" bias probes (which reads plate voltage and plate current simultaneously). These are available under the "Related Products" tab.

6L6GC's should bias up to between 34 to 40 mA per tube.
The JJ 5881's are a 23 watt tube and should bias up to between 31 to 36 mA per tube.
