Looking for a vintage vibe with FAT mids and a real sparkle? This is the ECC803S V1 Option Retube Kit for the Hughes & Kettner TubeMeister 18 Heads and Combo Amps. It uses a Long Plate ECC803S in V1 and a current balanced ECC83S for the phase inverter in V2. The default power tubes are a matched pair of the JJ EL84's.

The Balanced ECC83S is located in V2 farthest from the input jack.

These amps employ an auto bias scheme so all EL84's are plug and play.
