Want all the gain you can get? This is our High Gain Option Retube Kit for the Gibson GA 40RVT and GA 42RVT Combo Amps. The preamp section includes two standard ECC83S's for the verb and trem in V3 and V4 along with three handpicked High Gain ECC83S's with one balanced for the phase inverter in V5. The default power tubes are a matched pair of the JJ 6L6GC's, however you can configure this kit to use the JJ 5881's by clicking on the "Customize" button!

Bias Notes

The Balanced High Gain ECC83S is located in V5 closest to the power tubes and the two standard ECC83S's are located in V3 and V4.

These are cathode bias amps so both the JJ 6L6GC's and JJ 5881's are plug and play.
