Want a very smooth and rich tone with less grit? This is our Gold pin Option Retube Kit for the Gibson GA 30RVS Combo Amps. It contains four Gold Pin ECC83S's with two of them being current balanced for the phase inverters in V3 and V4. The default power tubes are two matched pairs of the JJ EL84's but you can configure this kit to use two matched pairs of the JJ EL844's for an earlier breakup or a pair of the EL84's and a pair of the EL844's by clicking on the "Customize" button!

The Balanced Gold Pin ECC83S's are located in V3 and V4 closest to the power tubes.

Combo amps are very hard on tubes because of vibrations which can cause tube rattle with any brand of tube. If you play by yourself in a quiet environment or record with your amp you may want to consider using the EuroDamper tube damper rings for the four power tubes. These will greatly reduce tube rattle.

These amps are cathode bias so both the EL84's and EL844's are plug and play.
