Gibson GA 20RVT ECC803S V1 Option

Do you like FAT mids and and some extra high end sparkle? This is our ECC803S V1 Option Retube Kit for the Gibson GA 20RVT Combo Amps. It contains a Long Plate ECC803S for V1, two standard ECC83S's for verb V3 and V4 along with two ECC83S's with one being current balanced for the phase inverter in V5. The power tubes are a matched pair of the JJ 6V6S's.

The Balanced ECC83S is located in V5 closest to the power tubes. The ECC803S is located in V1.

Combo amps are very hard on tubes because of vibrations which can cause tube rattle with any brand of tube. If you play by yourself in a quiet environment or record with your amp you may want to consider using the EuroDamper tube damper rings for the two power tubes. These are available under the "Related Products” tab as a pair of large rings.

These amps are cathode bias so the JJ 6V6S's are plug and play.
