Do you like FAT mids and some extra high end sparkle? This is our ECC803S V1 Option Retube Kit for the Fryette Pittbull Ultra Lead. The preamp section uses a Long Plate ECC803S for V1 along with four ECC83S's with one balanced for the phase inverter in V5 and a Balanced ECC81 to replace the 12AT7 driver in V6. The default power tubes are a matched quad of the JJ Electronic KT88’s but you can configure this kit to use the JJ 6550's by clicking on the "Customize" button!

The Balanced ECC83S is located in V5 and the Balanced ECC81 is located closest to the power tubes in V6. The ECC803S is located in V1.

These are all adjustable bias amps and all you need to check and adjust the bias is a bias probe and a Multimeter, or our all-in-one Eurotubes "Pro One" bias probe that reads both the plate current and the plate voltage simultaneously. You can find all these under the Related Products Tab.

You can use the "Generic Bias Video" we made using a Marshall 800 for reference.
