Want to get the smoothest and cremiest tone possible? This is the Gold Pin Retube Kit for the Friedman Pink Taco. The preamp section uses three Gold Pin JJ ECC83S's with one balanced for the phase inverter in V3. The default power tubes are a matched pair of the JJ Electronic EL84’s.

These amps are cathode biased extremely hot! Because of this we take great care to select the optimal tube grade of EL84's to provide the best compromise between tube life and tone.

If you have the combo version, please consider getting a set of damper rings for the power tubes. These can be found in the related products tab.

The Balanced Gold Pin ECC83S is located closest to the power tubes in V3.
