Want less grit and the smoothest richest tone possible? This is our Gold Pin Option Retube Kit for the Framus Ruby Riot and Ruby Riot II Amps. The preamp section uses one Gold Pin ECC81 along with five Gold Pin ECC83S's with one balanced for the phase inverter in V7. The kit includes a JJ GZ34 rectifier tube and the default power tubes are a matched quad of the JJ EL84's, however you can configure this kit to use the JJ EL844's for a slight reduction in power by clicking on the "Customize" button!

The Balanced Gold Pin ECC83S is located in V7 closest to the power tubes. the Gold Pin ECC81 is located in V6.

Combo amps are very hard on tubes and you play by yourself in a quiet environment you may want to consider using our EuroDamper rings for the four power tubes. These are available under the "Related Products" tab and will greatly decrease tube rattle.

These are cathode bias amps with no adjustment so both the JJ EL84's and EL844's are plug and play.
