Want a really smooth rich tone with less grit? This kit uses a matched quad of the JJ 6L6GC's for power, seven standard Gold Pin ECC83S's to replace the 12AX7's along with one standard Gold Pin ECC81 and a balanced Gold Pin ECC81 for the phase inverter. Smooth and lush!!

Tube location info: The Balanced Gold Pin ECC81 is located in V9 closest to the power tubes and the standard Gold Pin ECC81 is located in V5.

These amps are marginally adjustable and no test equipment is necessary.
