This kit contains a matched pair of the JJ 6V6S's, a JJ 5U4GB, four JJ ECC83S's to replace the 12AX7's and two JJ ECC81's with one of them being current balanced for the phase inverter in V6 next to the power tubes.

Tube location info: The Balanced ECC81 is located in V6 closest to the power tubes and the standard ECC81 is located in V3.

Combo amps are very hard on tubes because of vibrations which can cause tube rattle with any brand of tube. If you play by yourself in a quiet environment or record with your amp you may want to consider using the EuroDamper tube damper rings for the two 6V6S’s and the 5U4GB. These are available in the "Related Products” tab as a set of three and will greatly decrease tube rattle.

All you need to adjust the bias on a Deluxe is a bias probe and a multimeter or the Eurotubes "Pro One". All of these are are available in the "Related Products" tab.

We typically bias the JJ 6V6's in Deluxe's to between 22 to as high as 28mA.
