Get more of a vintage tone from your Evil Red Knob Twin. A matched quad of the JJ 6L6GC's with five ECC83S's to replace the 12AX7's and two ECC81's to replace the 12AT7's with one of them balanced for the phase inverter in V7.

Tube location info: The Balanced ECC81 is located in V7 closest to the power tubes and the standard ECC81 is located in V4.

All Combo amp Retube Kits are shipped with the Eurotubes Double Mica 6L6GC’s at no extra charge. JJ Electronic started building us a proprietary version of their 6L6GC (the 6L6GC-DM) in 2005 with extra layers of mica. This reinforces the plate structure and all but eliminates tube rattle symptoms.

All you need to adjust the bias on a Red Knob Twin is a multimeter. These are are available in the "Related Products" tab. Below is a copy of the manual for bias.
