Fender Pro Junior Low Output Standard Retube Kit

This kit contains a matched pair of JJ EL844's to drop the overall output a couple decibels, an ECC83S for V1 & a balanced ECC83S for the phase inverter in V2. This kit will maintain the gain in the preamp section and lower the output in the power section which reduces the headroom.

The Balanced ECC83S is located closest to the power tubes.

These amps are fixed biased, there is no bias adjustment to be made. The amount of clean headroom you’ll get from the power section is somewhat dictated by the grade of power tube used. The JJ EL844’s are a drop in replacement for EL84’s. The EL844’s will reduce the power output of the amp by a decibel or two.

The EuroDamper rings will dramatically reduce or eliminate tube rattle in combo amps. We use these small damper rings on EL84’s and long plate preamp tubes. We rarely find it necessary to use these on the short plate ECC83S's.
