This is our Tweed Option Retube Kit for the Fender Pro Jr. It contains a matched pair of JJ EL84's, a JJ 12AY7 for V1, and a balanced ECC83S for the phase inverter in V2. The Tweed Option will drop the gain down a bit more than the SRV Option allowing you to get more power tube breakup at higher volumes. The JJ 12AY7 has a fat warm tone with a big shimmering sparkle in the high end!

Just let us know in the comments section if you're looking for an early breakup, a moderate breakup or a later breakup for more headroom in which case we will choose the coolest grades we have available for the power tubes.

The Balanced ECC83S is located closest to the power tubes.

These amps are fixed biased, there is no bias adjustment to be made. The amount of clean headroom you’ll get from the power section is somewhat dictated by the grade of power tube used. A cooler grade of EL84’s will give you more clean headroom, whereas a warmer grade will give you earlier breakup. If you order online, leave us a note in the comments section letting us know your headroom preference (max headroom, middle of the road or early breakup).
