Really?? You really want MORE gain from your 5150 III? OK! This is our High Gain Option Retube kit for the Fender EVH 5150 III. It uses six handpicked High Gain ECC83S's for V1 thru V6, a standard ECC83S for V7 and a current balanced ECC83S for the phase inverter in V8. The default power tubes are a matched quad of the JJ 6L6GC's but you can also run a quad of 5881's, KT66's or an Integrated Quad consisting of a pair of KT66's and 6L6GC's matched to run together with the KT66's in the outside two sockets. You can customize the kit by clicking the "Customize" button.

The Balanced ECC83S is located in V8 closest to the power tubes and the six High Gain ECC83S's are located in V1 thru V6.

These amps are adjustable and you can use the factory test points and a Multimeter or you can use a bias probe with a Multimeter which is more accurate, or you can use our All-in-one "Pro One" bias probe which reads the plate voltage and the plate current simultaneously.
