Want less grit and a very smooth and rich tone? This is our Gold Pin Option Retube kit for the Fender EVH 5150 III. It uses eight Gold Pin ECC83S's with one being current balanced for the phase inverter in V8. The default power tubes are a matched quad of the JJ 6L6GC's but you can also run a quad of 5881's, KT66's or an Integrated Quad consisting of a pair of KT66's and 6L6GC's matched to run together with the KT66's in the outside two sockets. You can customize the kit by clicking the "Customize" button.

The Balanced Gold Pin ECC83S is located in V8 closest to the power tubes.

These amps are adjustable and you can use the factory test points and a Multimeter or you can use a bias probe with a Multimeter which is more accurate, or you can use our All-in-one "Pro One" bias probe which reads the plate voltage and the plate current simultaneously.
