Want it your way? The "Custom Kit" is just that, you get to choose your power tubes and all your preamp tubes! We'll give you all the power tube options and then you can choose your V1 tube and all your other preamp tubes! We give you all the positions and you fill them!. We left the quantity fields open so that spares or multiple tubes could be ordered to experiment with.

Power-Tubes

The default power tubes are a matched quad of the JJ 6L6GC's but you can also run a quad of 5881's, KT66's or an Integrated Quad consisting of a pair of KT66's and 6L6GC's matched to run together with the KT66's in the outside two sockets. V6 is the fourth gain stage for channel three, here you can again increase or decrease the gain or smooth it out with a Gold Pin tube. The only tubes we stay away from in V6 are the long plate tubes which are more prone to feeding back in the third channel. Spring & Cap style tube retainers

If you have chosen to use the KT66's then you can simply flatten out the stock Bear Trap style tube retainers or you can replace them with either a pair or a quad of the Spring and Cap style retainers.

Bias Probes and Multimeters

These amps are adjustable and you can use the factory test points and a Multimeter or you can use a bias probe with a Multimeter which is more accurate, or you can use our All-in-one "Pro One" bias probe which reads the plate voltage and the plate current simultaneously.
