Do you like big FAT THICK mids and a sparkling high end? This is our ECC803S V1 Option Retube Kit for the Engl Victor Smolski LTD E646. The preamp section uses a Long Plate ECC803S for the input tube in V5 and three ECC83S's with one balanced for the phase inverter in V8. The power tubes are a matched quad of the JJ 6L6GC's.

The Balanced ECC83S is located in V8 farthest from the input jack and the ECC803S is located in V5.

These are adjustable bias amps and all you need to check and adjust the bias is a bias probe and a Multimeter, or our all-in-one Eurotubes "Pro One" bias probe that reads both the plate current and the plate voltage simultaneously. These are all available under the "Related Products" tab.

You can use the "Generic Bias Video" we made using a Marshall 800 for reference.
