Want a really rich and smooth tone with less grit? This is our Gold Pin Option Retube Kit for the Engl Sovereign 100 E365 1/12 and E368 2/12 Combo Amps. The preamp section uses four Gold Pin ECC83S's with one balanced for the phase inverter in V8. The power tubes are a matched quad of the JJ 6L6GC's.

The Balanced Gold Pin ECC83S is located in V8 farthest from the input jack.

These are adjustable bias amps and all you need to check and adjust the bias is a bias probe and a Multimeter, or our all-in-one Eurotubes "Pro One" bias probe that reads both the plate current and the plate voltage simultaneously. These are all available under the "Related Products" tab.

You can use the "Generic Bias Video" we made using a Marshall 800 for reference.
