JJ EL84 Single. Classic EL84 character with tight lows, punchy mids, and chimey highs.

After a 24 hour burn in all power tubes are tested for noise and matched at multiple operating points for plate current (± one milliamp) and transconductance.

The JJ EL84 is a classic example of the historic 6BQ5/EL84 with all the classic tonal attributes. Compared to other modern production variants, the JJ is more robust with a smoother and more refined overall character.

We use these in applications up to 400VDC on the plates which means these can also be used in 7189 applications.

If you're using the JJ EL84's in a combo amp the Damper rings will greatly reduce any tube rattle.
