Want it your way? The "Custom Kit" is just that, you get to choose your power tubes from the "Power-Tubes" category and all your preamp tubes! We'll give you all the tube types that we know work. Then you can choose your V1 tube and all your other preamp tubes! We give you all the positions and you fill them!. We left the quantity fields open so that spares or multiple tubes could be ordered to experiment with.

Custom Kit

V7 is the reverb tube, an ECC81 is the equivalent in gain to a 12AT7, or you can use ECC82's if the verb is too strong for your style. The Gold Pin tubes with smooth out the verb and make it a bit more lush sounding.

EuroDamper Tube Damper Rings

If your amp is the combo version and you have chosen to use the JJ 6L6GC's then please let us know in the comments section and we will ship your kit with the special Double Mica 6L6GC’s at no extra charge which will greatly reduce any tube rattle. JJ Electronic started building us a proprietary version of their 6L6GC (the 6L6GC-DM) in 2005 with extra layers of mica. This reinforces the plate structure and all but eliminates tube rattle symptoms. For other tubes such as E34L's, EL34II's, EL34’s, KT77's and 6CA7's, we recommend using our EuroDamper rings.

Spring & Cap style tube retainers

If you choose to use the KT66's, 6550's or KT88's and your amp has the "Bear Trap" style tube retainers you may want to swap these out for the "Spring and Cap" style retainers. These are 5.00 a pair and mount using the same screws as the stock retainers.

Bias Probes and Multimeters

These are adjustable bias amps and if you use the Diezel method of removing fuses to measure bias all you need is a Multimeter. This method is a bit tedious, it's much easier and convenient to use a bias probe and a Multimeter or our all-in-one "Pro One" bias probe that reads both the plate current and the plate voltage simultaneously.
