Want all the gain you can get? This is our High Gain Option Retube Kit for the Diamond Spitfire II Amp. The preamp section uses a standard ECC83S for the FX loop in V5 along with five handpicked High Gain ECC83S's with one balanced for the phase inverter in V6. The default power tubes are a matched quad of the JJ Electronic E34L's but you can configure this kit to use the JJ EL34II's, EL34’s, KT77’s or Big Bottle 6CA7’s by clicking on the "Customize" button!

The Balanced High Gain ECC83S is located in V6 farthest from the input jack and the standard ECC83S is located in V5.

These are adjustable bias amps. All you need to check and adjust the bias is a bias probe and a Multimeter, or our all-in-one Eurotubes "Pro One" bias probe that reads both the plate current and the plate voltage simultaneously. The E34L's, EL34 II's, EL34's, KT77's and 6CA7's all bias the same.

You can use the Generic bias video we did on a Marshall 800 and the procedure is the same.
