Diamond Del Fuego Standard Retube Kit

Looking to warm up your Del Fuego? This is our Standard Retube Kit for the Diamond Del Fuego Heads and Combo Amps. It uses three ECC83S's with one being current balanced for the phase inverter in V3 and an EZ81 rectifier to replace the 6CA4. The default power tubes are a matched pair of the JJ EL84's. With the Customize option you can configure this kit to use the JJ EL844's which will drop the power output a couple decibels (ideal for players wanting decreased headroom/output).

The Balanced ECC83S is located in V3 closest to the power tubes.

If your amp is the combo version and you play by yourself in a quiet environment you may want to consider using our EuroDamper rings for the two power tubes and the rectifier tube. These are available under the "Related Products" tab and will greatly decrease tube rattle.

These amps are cathode bias so both the EL84's and EL844's are plug and play.
